The Malvinas

The sovereignty of the Malvinas has been a subject of discusion in many topics around the world.

Argentina declared independance from Spain in 1816 and designated a militar governor, Luis Vernet, who was forced to leave the islands along with his settlers in 1830.

The Malvinas are about 7.000 km away from the UK and are administrated by the latter due the islanders' will, nevertheless, most of the current islanders are the result of a colonial enclave who will never accept Argentina's right on those islands.

The people living in those islands are british but those islands should belong to Argentina and the only reason why they are administrated by the UK is because of force.
